The Fire Department has made us aware of a gas leak at 607 Linden St. in Cornelius, near Echo Shaw Elementary School. This was do to construction that is going on in the area. Officials have assured the district that the situation is under control, the gas has been turned off and that there is no danger to those in the area. Students walking home through this area will be escorted through the construction zone.
El departamento de bomberos nos ha informado que hubo una fuga de gas en 607 Linden St. en Cornelius, cerca de la escuela primaria Echo Shaw.
